Job Summary:
Trauma Center Association of America is a small non-profit trade association located in Mooresville, NC. The Online Learning Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and managing online educational programs for TCAA. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and TCAA staff to create engaging and informative content for healthcare professionals. The Online Education Coordinator will ensure that all online courses meet the highest standards of educational quality, align with accreditation requirements, and effectively support the mission of TCAA.
Education/Experience:
4-year college degree in education, instructional design, health sciences, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant work experience. At least 3-5 years of experience in online education, instructional design, or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of online learning platforms, multimedia tools, and instructional design principles. Experience in the healthcare or trauma care industry is preferred.
Essential Functions:
Coordinate online education programs, including webinars, courses, and certification programs. Utilize the latest technology and e-learning platforms to deliver high-quality educational experiences. Maintain and update online course materials, ensuring they are current and relevant. Oversee the integration of multimedia elements, such as video lectures, interactive simulations, and assessments, into online courses. Ensure all content complies with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Provide technical support and guidance to users, including students, instructors, and staff. Evaluate and monitor user feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve the online learning experience. Develop and deliver training sessions for faculty and staff on the use of online education platforms. Monitor course performance and completion rates, and implement improvements as needed. Ensure all online programs align with the Trauma Center’s goals and objectives. Prepare and submit reports on program effectiveness and participant satisfaction. Assist in promoting online education programs through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and professional networks. Coordinate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and strategies to attract new participants. Coordinate committee activities, documents and recordkeeping as the liaison to assigned committees in alignment with the strategic plan Perform other duties as assigned. TCAA Board and Committee External Relations Develop and assist with special projects as requested Coordinate Committee activities, documents and record keeping as assigned Communicate with Board and Committees on all TCAA activities as appropriate
