Director of Grants Program Interfaith Nutrition Network Hempstead, NY Grants Program Director Full-Time/Monday-Friday This is your chance to join a Local Not-for-profit organization where you will be able to make a Difference! The Interfaith Nutrition Network is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that began as a single soup kitchen in 1983. The organization has been serving the community continuously for the past 42 years. Currently, Long Island’s largest soup kitchen, the Mary Brennan INN, operates on its Hempstead campus, along with several 24-hour homeless shelters located in nearby communities. As demand for services has increased, the organization has responded by offering a range of services for those facing hunger and homelessness, including meals, showers, clothing, social services, and access to healthcare. Government, foundation, and private funding sources are essential to operating these services and supporting our mission. The INN is currently seeking an experienced Grants Program Director to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will: Expand and manage funding sources for The INN by identifying and evaluating potential opportunities, developing funding applications, maintaining a grants database, and monitoring the status of these sources for follow-up. Manage the contracting, reporting, and vouchering processes. Advise the organization on upcoming funding and reporting deadlines, as well as new funding opportunities, and collaborate with key INN team members to develop successful funding applications.

We require:

Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university in Business, Communication, or Marketing; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of seven (7) years of grant-related experience in a nonprofit environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Salary:
