Day Shift – 7.5 Hours (United States of America) This position is responsible for directing and managing the Psychiatry Residency Program at RUMC and responsible for the overall operations of the psychiatry residency program. Responsible for recruitment, retention, training and education of 24 residents across 4 years Responsible for ensuring all ACGME requirements for the training program are met on time Will work collaboratively with the DIO (Designated Institutional Official) and serve on the Graduate medical education committee as may be appointed. Work with the residency program coordinator to ensure smooth operations of the program. The person appointed to this position will also have patient care responsibilities in addition to the duties of the program director.
Experience:
Must be Board Certified in Psychiatry Have prior experience serving as a program director or associate program director in psychiatry or a subspecialty. Consideration maybe given to candidates with significant experience as a faculty member in a GME program with responsibilities for teaching, supervision and evaluation of residents and/fellows.
Salary Range:
$150k -$250
