Director of Aquatics, Membership, and Wellness is responsible for supporting the Program Director with strategic oversight, operational management, and overall success of these key departments at the YMCA. This role ensures high-quality programming, exceptional member service, and operational efficiency while fostering a culture of collaboration and community engagement. The Asst. Director supervises multiple direct reports across the Aquatics, Membership, and Wellness departments and works closely with staff to achieve organizational goals. This position plays a critical role in advancing the YMCA’s mission by ensuring excellence across the Aquatics, Membership, and Wellness departments, fostering member and staff engagement, and promoting a culture of health and well-being within the community. POSITION SUMMARY

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Develops, organizes and implements high quality YMCA program(s).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Assist in the development and delivery of programs that meet the needs of the community and attract and retain members. 2. Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, development, and schedules and directs staff and volunteers as needed. Assists with reviews and evaluations of staff performance. Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals. 3. Assist in establishing new program activities and expands program within the community in accordance with strategic and operating plans. 4. Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information. 5. Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with community organizations. 6. Provides support to manage department budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and resource allocation.

Full-time Pay:

$15.00 – $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
