Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Admissions Director to join our skilled nursing facility , where our mission is to provide exceptional care to our residents. The Admissions Director will play a pivotal role in establishing a welcoming environment for prospective residents and their families, guiding them through the admissions process with compassion and expertise. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and policies, as well as the ability to assess the needs and preferences of potential residents. Oversee and manage the admissions process for new residents, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the facility’s services and attract potential residents. Conduct assessments of prospective residents to determine their eligibility and care needs in collaboration with clinical staff. Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, and community health organizations. Lead a team of admissions coordinators, providing training, support, and performance management as required. Ensure a smooth and welcoming admission experience for residents and their families, addressing any concerns or questions promptly. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to admissions, ensuring data integrity and reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required Minimum of 1 year experience as Admissions Director in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing skilled nursing facilities. Basic understanding of marketing principles and community outreach strategies.
