Lecturer / Communications Manager 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Troy, AL The Lecturer/Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and communication initiatives to enhance the visibility and reputation of the Sorrell College of Business. This role manages the college’s social media presence, oversees internal and external communications, promotes academic programs and events, and ensures alignment with university initiatives. The position will also be responsible for teaching courses at the undergraduate level in areas such as Business Communications, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach College of Business courses in fields such as Business Communications, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the college’s programs, faculty, and student achievements. Manage and curate content for the college’s social media platforms to engage key audiences. Coordinate internal and external communications, including newsletters, press releases, and website updates. Oversee marketing efforts for college events, ensuring effective promotion and audience engagement. Collaborate with university relations, marketing, and communications teams.
