Continuous Job Details Lecturer in Communication, Media & Culture Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a full-time lecturer position in Communication to begin August 2025. Candidates must have a graduate or terminal degree in Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Arts, or a related field by the date of appointment. The Department of Communication, Media, and Culture offers majors in Communication, Journalism & Sports Media, and Public Relations & Strategic Communication. The teaching load is five courses per academic semester and may include face-to-face, hybrid, or distance learning deliveries. Teaching assignments may include evening/weekend courses. We are seeking excellent teacher-scholars to teach the department’s foundation courses. Faculty will also teach courses in their area of expertise, which should align with current departmental majors, minors, and course offerings.
