Job Summary:

theCoderSchool is seeking passionate Code Coaches to empower the next generation of digital creators and problem-solvers. You’ll connect with extraordinary kids, teach them not just how to code, but how to think algorithmically and develop their tech mindset. This position is for our summer camp programs which run from 9am-3pm during summer months, as well as after-school programs during the school year (3-8pm weekdays or 10am-3pm Saturdays). This flexible part-time position offers 6-25 hours/week with a consistent weekly schedule that can be tailored to your availability.

Coaching Pathways:

As a Code Coach, you’ll mentor young learners through one of our teaching modalities, based on your expertise, interests, and schedule: 1. Code Coaching™

  • Personalized Learning Experience One-on-one or one-on-two immersive coding sessions Guide beginners through visual programming in Scratch or Snap Mentor advanced students in Python, JavaScript, or specialized languages like Java, C++ Co-design projects that align with students’ interests while following our proven curriculum frameworks 2.   • Structured Learning Experience Facilitate curriculum-driven classes with higher student-to-coach ratios Deliver engaging content in an interactive group setting Guide students through sequential skill-building activities and projects 3.
