Job Description
Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking a full-time Faculty•Criminal Justice Technology instructor. Under the direction of the Program Chair, the faculty member provides quality learning opportunities that assist students in meeting their educational goals and career aspirations in the Associate in Applied Science program. This individual promotes the college’s mission by providing effective individual teaching and learning, curriculum development, advising, professional development, institutional service, and community outreach. The faculty member will teach a minimum of 18 contact hours each term or 36 total contact hours fall and spring terms. This position will be seated primarily on our south campus in Concord, NC Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Criminal Justice•Preferred Terminal degree in Criminal Justice or Homeland Security. Minimum of 5 years working in the Criminal Justice Field. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the community college or university level. Experience in a regional accreditation process, such as SACSCOC.
