Lead, Instructor Curriculum Developer Suzuki Marine

Tampa, FL 33635 Suzuki has an excellent opportunity for a Marine Technical Instructor and Curriculum Developer to join our team in Tampa Fl. The Marine Technical Instructor and Curriculum will effectively develop and deliver technical training curriculum to promote growth.

Position Details:

Proficiency in classroom instruction, curriculum development, and assessment practices. Comprehensive knowledge of marine engine service, including maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair. Strong computer skills and proficiency with job-related software Ability to complete administrative tasks such as course documentation, reporting, and data collection for licensing and accreditation Under general supervision, develops program and course learning outcomes, curricular outline(s), and delivery method(s). Facilitate training courses in professional classroom and training shop environments, including preparation, delivery, testing, grading and reporting. Identify curriculum gaps and develop written and hands-on curriculum to meet the latest Suzuki Marine training goals. Develop and maintain training aids/labs to help students comprehend training objectives. Storyboard training e-modules, provide subject mater expertise in the development of training e modules. Develop industry partnerships with technical colleges. Work independently, be highly flexible, and team oriented Maintain a safe and secure training environment. Travel is required as needed between 5 training locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Technical Diploma in Marine Technology or a closely related field from an accredited technical institute, college, or university. A minimum of five (5) years of work experience in marine engine technology or a related role Credentialed (or eligible for credentialing) in accordance with all applicable accrediting agency requirements Strong technical knowledge of outboards and the technical aspect of marine products. Experience in presentation and facilitation skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. A comprehensive knowledge of Marine Engine service, including experience with maintenance, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair. Able to work flexible hours, and manage multiple & competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience teaching in a postsecondary technical or vocational setting. Manufacturer certifications or advanced training in marine engine systems.
