Position Summary:
The E-Learning/Instructional Designer, under the HR Manager’s supervision, will develop and edit online learning materials. This role includes assessing learning needs, analyzing existing instructional materials, and redesigning or creating courses, curriculums, and training materials to enhance learner engagement and competency development. Collaboration with the Senior HR Training Specialist is essential to meet training goals. The individual must be able to perform all necessary duties satisfactorily, and reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Requirements:
- Experience in designing and developing e-learning content, including the use of systems and technological tools.
- Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360 and/or Adobe Captivate.
- Experience working with a company’s proprietary Learning Management System (LMS).
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English and Spanish at an advanced level in a business environment.
- Capable of writing effective copy and scripts for audiovisual media.
- Ability to create storyboards.
- Knowledge and experience in photography, video, and audio production.
- Familiarity with the following areas: Instructional Design, Simulation-Based Training, Course Design, Organizational Development, Adult Learning Theory, Learning Strategies and Development, and Quality Assurance Testing.
