Requirements Conditions of Employment Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certificion Stement for Selective Service Requirement. Proof of U.S. Citizenship required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Two year trial period may be required. Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determinion, as determined by a background investigion. This position requires a Tier 1 (T1) investigion with Childcare Checks since its duties require interaction with children and youth under the age of eighteen (18) years of age. Qualificions Who May Apply:

U.S. Citizens A minimum of a Master’s degree in the field of Special Educion or Educion is required for all Special Educion Instructional System Specialist (ISS) positions. The course work must have been completed or accepted by a regionally accredited U.S. college or university.

  • Specialized Experience Requirement (5 years): Specialized experience is experience gained in teaching, educional research, development of educional merials and aids, educional testing, educional administrion, or comparable activities in an elementary and/or secondary school, which has clearly demonstred success in the applicion of principles, methods, and techniques of educion and familiarity with current developments in PK-12th grade educion and training.

This experience must have been in Special Educion. This position also requires a minimum of 2 years of experience teaching children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Learning theory, psychology of learning, educional psychology: Study of learning theories as they rele to the systemic design, development, and validion of instructional merial. 2.

Study of the principles and techniques used in designing training programs, developing design stregy and models, and applying design methods to the improvement of instructional effectiveness. 3.

Educional evaluion:

Study of the techniques for evaluing the effectiveness of instructional/educional programs, including developing written and performance tests and survey instruments, and determining reliability and validity of evaluion instruments. 4.
