JOB PURPOSE
The Clinical Education Coordinator is responsible for the effectiveand reliable delivery of unit-based clinical learning and trainingof imaging residents in their respected modality. Directs,coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within ImagingServices. Ensures that the entitys unit-based learning anddevelopment activities follow established roles and guidelines. Inpartnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, thecoordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents.
Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-basedactivities and effectiveness. Directly reports to the Manager ofClinical Education – Imaging.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or DiagnosticMedical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Three (3) years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI,Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or Mammography.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW
Must be ARRT certified with advance certification in area ofeducational instruction, i.e. (CT) (MR) (M) (VI) or ARDMS or NMTCBregistered.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Previous educator experience desired. Bachelors degree preferred.
BLS certification required. Previous lead or supervisory experiencepreferred.
