Chenega Enterprise Systems and Solutions , LLC , a Chenega Professional Services ‘ company, is looking for a Health Education Specialist t o support the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This person will apply instructional design and adult learning principles and strategies to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate instructional course. Responsibilities:

Conduct research to explore existing MOOCs (e.g., Coursera). Aid in making linkages/connections to other training systems. Serve as advisor and coordinator to CDC programs using and interested in using MOOCs and other training systems/approaches (providing consults). Work with CDCU on licenses/access for CDC staff. Build relationships with universities, institutions and other groups to create awareness about CDC’s MOOC and who may be interested in partnering with CDC to provide content in MOOCs. Assist with curation of learning (based on Quality Training Standards) about COVID and data science content in various MOOCs. Disseminate findings and recommendations based on curated learning to promote high quality e-learning. Provide consultation on learning design, competency alignment, and curriculum development to CDC program staff. Apply principles of instructional design to conduct analysis, design, development and evaluation tasks required for training products and services, including e-learning and classroom-based training design. Skills in Lectora and Captivate. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Four (4) to seven (7) years of instructional design experience, creating various training curriculums, programs, and materials. Completed Master’s degree.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proficient with Storyboarding and Adobe Captivate. Skilled in Lectora. Experience with learning management systems. Knowledge of foundational learning and instructional design research; knowledge of emerging trends in educational. Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, communication (verbal and written), project management skills. Teleworking Permitted?: true
