POSITION

Adult Education Instructional Coordinator- Part Time

SCHEDULE

Flexible Hours totaling 19 hours a week including some evenings

Description:

Prepares lesson plans fand curriculum for classroom instruction and obtains or prepares instructional materials for classroom use. Provides instructional guidance to teachers. Evaluates students’ ongoing progress and performance in attaining NRS and state goals and objectives through TABE pre and post testing. Develops and maintains our Blackboard GED and ESL online preparation program. Assist Dean to plan, organize and participate in staff development and team conferences. Maintains a secure classroom environment. Assists with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts when needed. Must be flexible within all eight counties.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field Experience developing classroom lesson plans and curriculum (including English as a Second Language)
