Job Description
Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy seeks an Academic Interventionist with a Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, and/or Curriculum & Instruction; Reading/Math Specialist and/or elementary school certification desirable; 3-5 years+ experience with small group academic support for elementary school students with proven record of increasing literacy and math skills. A strong candidate will have an expertise in how to administer and analyze results from a wide-range of diagnostic assessments, experience with instructional coaching and pushing into classrooms is an asset. Knowledge of the Response to Intervention process is essential. Ability to work in collaboration with a wide array of teachers and school leaders is essential.
