It is a post-sales position, demonstrating and teaching the customer all the cool features and systems in their new car. They are excited to learn and ask questions, so you have to be up to the task with your own enthusiastic knowledge and skill. You are their hero! We are seeking applicants who are bright and charismatic, people-pleasers who enjoy engaging in conversation and the time it takes to teach the customer about their vehicle. Keeping abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and explaining the benefits of these to clients is key to your success. We are seeking full-time personnel, rotating with other Geniuses. We will provide a solid compensation plan based on your background and experience. You will be needed most Saturdays, and flexible scheduling during the week. We are not open Sunday. Most demonstrations take place at the store, but you will also perform new and used car deliveries, driving the vehicle to the customer. You will also follow up with sold customers to see if they have any questions or concerns. HS Grad, and we would prefer college grad. Those who have served in the hospitality industry and direct customer service have the preferred background. A safe driving record is important. You would learn comprehensive product information in order to explain and demonstrate all of the vehicle’s features that make the car both fun, and safer to drive. Nothing mechanical. How to sync their phone. How to use the Navigation system. Lighting features, locking features, seat settings. It will require studying and learning all the features. This will come through reading the manuals, watching videos, and training with other genii we have on-board now. It takes a good memory, comprehension, rehearsal and practice, but it is really quite fun! This all takes place in a no rush atmosphere. By providing this service, the customer will better appreciate their vehicle, which creates a stronger emotional bond for the brand, and the store. The customer is already excited about their new car, and they are even more excited when you show them all the bells and whistles!
