Part-time Education Coordinator, Educational Talent Search 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Poplar Bluff, MO 63901 Part-time, grant-funded position to coordinate the tutoring program services for ETS participants. Responsibilities will include oversight for the day-to-day program activities, including scheduling and coordinating with students and parents for tutoring services. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: Hire tutoring staff based on identified needs of the ETS office, student participants, and the school districts served. Organize an ongoing tutor orientation and training session beginning in August of each year. Demonstrate proper and innovative techniques of tutoring. Assist tutors in assessing and planning strategies that will enable participants to meet objectives of the project. Assist tutors in evaluating success of the tutoring program. Provide necessary paperwork to all tutors. Visit tutors as needed to assist with planning of activities and carrying out plans of the tutoring program. Plan the annual Educational Talent Search tutoring event to encourage new participants to the program. Maintain adequate information for tutor files and database. Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license is required. Experience in education with classroom management, oversight for student workers, and competency in technology is preferred. Salary range is $15.00 – $20.00 per hour. Travel to meet with tutors is required. Qualified candidates should upload a current resume and copy of transcript.
