What You’ll Do
- Develop innovative, job-specific training materials in multiple formats: eLearning, video, simulations, instructor-led, blended, and more.
- Consult with employers to identify skill gaps and design tailored training aligned to their unique needs, operations, and culture.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and company leaders to translate complex processes into accessible, engaging content.
- Deliver live training sessions as needed, both in-person and virtually.
- Manage and troubleshoot content within various Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time, high-quality training development.
- Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Support broader AccelerateMS internal training and continuous improvement efforts.
- Integrate training with credentialing and workforce education pathways across Mississippi. What You Bring
- 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, content development, or workforce training.
- Proficiency with instructional design tools like Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication skills — written, visual, and verbal — with the ability to translate industry jargon into learner-friendly content.
- Project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple training builds at once.
- LMS fluency — you’re comfortable uploading, managing, and maintaining course content.
- Experience designing training for multiple industries — manufacturing experience is a major plus.
- A knack for innovation — familiarity with using social media, video, or animation in training is welcome.
