$60.3K – $76.4K a year 2 days ago Qualifications Computer Science Software troubleshooting Learning technology Mid-level Technical support Education Bachelor’s degree IT Canvas LMS software Research & development 2 years Information Technology Full Job Description Investigate and disseminate information on best practices for technology integration, sources of information on trends, research and applications related to technology use in the classroom Teach demonstration lessons with the teacher taking over class instruction after the demonstration Provide training to teachers in the use of current technology to meet curriculum goals Maintain current knowledge of technology and instructional practices that relate to the use of technology Communicate with school and district personnel, parents and community to share information about technology initiatives Assist in the development and implementation of technology professional development Work with the specialists to maintain accurate records involving computer use, inventory, cyber safety and maintenance Assess the needs and plans for new technology of assigned schools and communicates these to the appropriate personnel or technology committee Follow ethical guidelines applicable to the position as outlined by professional organizations and or federal, state, local laws, rules and regulations Provide assistance in the selection, ordering, receiving and installing new equipment and software Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and recommends repairs as needed Participate in ongoing professional development through attendance at state and national conferences as well as through a personal learning network Coordinate with specialists on ways to integrate technology in each subject level Coordinate with tech team leaders on training and 1:1 management Lead and attend staff meetings/trainings as applicable;
