Instructional Designer 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars 2100 Silas Creek Pky, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 The Academic Instructional Designer collaborates with faculty to build and improve courses based on evidence-based research on how people learn. This position plays a crucial role in creating and facilitating programs for faculty enhancement, ensuring the adoption of best practices in course design and delivery. Remote work hours are negotiable.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, curriculum and instruction, or related field.
Note:
Degrees and hours must be from a college accredited by a United States Department of Education accepted accrediting agency such as SACSCOC . Experience working with faculty to enhance course design and instructional practices. Strong knowledge of evidence-based research on how people learn and effective instructional strategies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in using educational technology and tools to support instructional design.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred:
Master’s degree in instructional design, curriculum and instruction, or related field. Experience in higher education settings. At least three years of experience directly supporting faculty and their curriculum/course projects. Knowledge of online and hybrid course design. Essential Duties

Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in instructional design and higher education.
