Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Curriculum Developer – Air Operations shall design and develop curriculum content, training materials, training modules, and teaching aids. The individual will develop written, instructor led, self-paced, computer based, and other types of curriculum to be used by training facilitators, instructors, and students with little direction or oversight.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Manager of Development to plan, direct, or coordinate development activities and training.
Design and develop training materials utilizing web-based training programs and Learning Management Systems to meet Air Operations training requirements.
Work collaboratively with a diverse team (department managers and supervisors, customer representatives, subject matter experts, instructional staff, program developers) to research, design, develop and implement effective training solutions.
Provide timely status updates and reports on assigned projects and organizational performance to supervisor.
Take ownership of assigned projects and do what is necessary to ensure assigned projects are completed on schedule and to department standards.
Develop and review proposed project efforts to determine scope, key milestones, and timeframe.
Develop and formalize a quality assurance review process of all existing and new training programs.
Responsible for the Companys Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Specifics
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent work experience.
Knowledgeable and experienced in applying adult learning principles and concepts.
Comprehensive knowledge of current instructional theories and principles applicable to both online and instructor-led learning programs.
Experience developing creative and engaging training materials for an adult audience, in a variety of formats and media.
Experience with multimedia and web design technologies.
Advanced to intermediate computer experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Good organization skills and time management skills; ability to be flexible and solve problems.
Ability to speak/read/write in English.
If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
Working knowledge of Adobe Captivate, Premier, and Pro and 5 years of relevant work experience (in similar field and/or industry)
Skilled use of Articulate Storyline.

Work Environment:
