Full-Time Position Summary:

The Tele-Design Specialist plays a vital role in supporting The Designery franchise network by delivering expert-level design services remotely. This role partners directly with franchisees to design kitchens, baths, and closets for their customers, ensuring an elevated and efficient client experience. The Tele-Design Specialist also manages administrative tasks within the CRM, builds accurate project quotes, and leads showroom design planning for new franchise locations. This position requires strong design skills, CRM proficiency, a high level of organization, and a passion for training and supporting franchise owners. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who can thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment and occasionally engage directly with customers via video.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with franchise owners to design kitchens, baths, and closets using provided measurements and customer preferences Input finalized designs, selections, and pricing into the CRM system and prepare detailed project quotes Support franchisees by providing guidance on design best practices and product selection Lead showroom layout and design planning for new franchise locations in alignment with brand standards Perform administrative CRM tasks as needed, including data cleanup, quote updates, and product catalog adjustments Provide virtual customer-facing support alongside in-store sales associates when needed (via Zoom or video platforms) Help train and onboard new franchisees, including use of design software, sales tools, and CRM systems Continuously improve processes, documentation, and tools to enhance the tele-design program

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in interior design, kitchen and bath design, or related field. Proficient in design software (e.g., Prokitchen, 2020 Design, Chief Architect, or similar preferred). Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable on video calls and in remote customer-facing interactions. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently. Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) preferred. Franchise or multi-location support experience is a plus.
