Months Position Overview:

Pender County Schools is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated educator to serve as the Lead Curriculum and Instructional Management Coordinator (CIMC). This leadership position plays a critical role in coordinating district-level support for Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. The Lead CIMC is responsible for credentialing, curriculum support, testing compliance, and instructional leadership across all CTE areas. The position includes a $3,000 annual stipend in recognition of its districtwide scope and expanded responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

? Bachelor’s degree required ? Current continuing professional license in one of the following: ? Any CTE area ? Curriculum Instructional Specialist ? Instructional Technology Specialist ? School Administrator ? Five (5) years of relevant work experience in CTE or educational leadership within the past eight (8) years ? Experience as a CTE teacher, CDC, Special Populations Coordinator, instructional specialist, assistant principal, or principal ? Must be willing to complete the

NCDPI CIMC
Induction Program Preferred Qualifications:

? Master’s degree in education, curriculum & instruction, or related field ? Experience in instructional coaching and/or professional learning leadership ? Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and track credentialing outcomes ? Strong understanding of NC CTE initiatives, credential alignment, and compliance

Key Responsibilities:

Area Lead CIMC Responsibilities Curriculum Support Collaborate with all CTE teachers to ensure alignment of curriculum with state standards, credentials, and workforce needs Credential Coordination Full oversight of over 25 credentials, including test scheduling, results tracking, data analysis, and budget reconciliation CTE Testing Sole responsibility for coordinating all CTE state and local testing and ensuring full compliance with NC testing laws and policies Professional Development Lead CTE PLCs, coordinate districtwide training, and provide job- embedded coaching tied to teacher and program needs Career Development Plans Support high school teams in the implementation and monitoring of Career Development Plans for all students Legislative Compliance Monitor and support adherence to evolving state legislation regarding CTE pathways, Computer Science, and Career Development Program Expansion Assist in launching new middle and high school CTE programs, including oversight of instructional readiness and compliance
