Primary Purpose of Department Academic unit delivering BSW and MSW degree programs.
Primary Purpose of Position This position is pivotal in securing practicum placement sites for students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs. It will ensure compliance with institutional and agency requirements, facilitate onboarding and orientation processes, and collaborate with the Practicum Education Office and community partners to support successful student placements. Summary of Position Responsibilities Agency Outreach and Onboarding (30%):
Identify and connect with target groups to expand practicum placement opportunities.
Develop partnerships with potential placement sites and guide agencies through the onboarding process.
Serve as the primary point of contact for new placement sites.
Ensure affiliation agreements and renewals are completed.
Maintain onboarding forms, paperwork, and resources Student Compliance (20%):
Collect and communicate compliance information to students and the Dean’s Office.
Track student clearance and address noncompliance issues.
Develop and provide compliance resources to students and agencies.
Submit clinical placement requests as required
Maintain Databases and Records (20%):
Maintain databases of clinical sites, preceptors, student records, and agency contracts.
Verify practicum instructor/task supervisor status.
Coordinate practicum software and maintain placement information.
Practicum Administration (30%):
Oversee the practicum placement matching process.
Update practicum education policies and ensure compliance with CSWE hours requirements.
Provide information and support to students, faculty, and agencies.
Attend relevant meetings and serve as a liaison with community organizations. Minimum Education/Experience Master’s degree in a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in academia.
Proficiency with database software and excellent computer skills.
Strong written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated success working in a team environment.
Skilled in problem solving and logical reasoning.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience Experience in agency outreach and onboarding.
Familiarity with health and safety education regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA).
