We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Board-CertifiedBehavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in the Raleigh, NC area.
As a BCBA Assessment Specialist, you will play a key role inassessing the needs of clients with autism and relateddevelopmental disabilities. Your work will directly impact thedesign and implementation of individualized Applied BehaviorAnalysis (ABA) therapy programs. This position requires anin-person commitment to provide high-quality assessments in theclient’s home, clinic or community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments for clients referred forABA therapy while supporting their intake process. Performcomprehensive assessments, including skills assessments (e.g.,VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R) and adaptive behavior assessments (e.g.,Vineland-III and BASC 3). Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams,including behavior technicians and supervisors, to create andrefine individualized treatment plans. Analyze assessment data anddevelop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that align with clientgoals, as needed. Provide recommendations for treatment based onassessment results and client needs. Ensure adherence to ethicalstandards and best practices in all assessments and treatments.
Communicate effectively with clients’ families, caregivers, andother professionals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation ofassessment results and recommendations. Provide review of treatmentplan with families. Provide initial introduction to ABA therapy andparent/caregiver training. Support transition to case BCBA. Set upinitial goals and targets in Rethink. Option to support a smallongoing caseload with technician supervision, parent/caregivercollaboration and treatment planning.
Qualifications:
Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential is required. NCLBA is preferred, but can be obtained once hired. Experience withbehavior assessment tools and ABA therapy methodologies. Stronganalytical, observational, and problem-solving skills. Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills. Ability to workindependently as well as part of a collaborative team. Must be ableto travel within the area to conduct in-person assessments.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience working with children,teens and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) andrelated developmental disorders. Knowledge of current trends andresearch in ABA therapy.
