SUMMARY The Learning Solutions Manager is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge, high-impact learning programs and CPE (Continuing Professional Education) solutions. This role focuses on addressing the specific learning objectives of firms, corporations, and other key stakeholder groups, while also expanding the company’s current customized CPE (CCE) offerings. Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, the Learning Solutions Manager ensures that all educational solutions are relevant, innovative, and aligned with organizational and stakeholder needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customized CPE (CCE) Program Growth Develop and execute strategies to expand the volume and revenue of CCE offerings, ensuring competitive positioning and market relevance. Identify opportunities for new customized learning programs by partnering with firms, corporations, and professional networks. Continuously evaluate program performance and leverage data insights for enhancements that drive growth and profitability. Academy-Level Professional Education Solutions Lead the creation and management of advanced, academy-style professional education programs that address specialized or emerging areas of the profession. For purposes of this job description, “academy-level professional education solutions” are intensive, immersive programs that go beyond standard CPE offerings. These structured, multi-session experiences delve deeply into specialized or advanced topics, often integrating case studies, real-world applications, and collaborative learning. By combining expert-led instruction with hands on activities, these academies help participants build a higher level of expertise and practical skills, comparable to an in-depth professional development “academy.” Oversee the full lifecycle of these programs, from needs assessment and content design to delivery and evaluation. Partner with subject matter experts and thought leaders to ensure programs meet high standards for rigor, relevance, and learner experience. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate closely with internal teams (Marketing, Advocacy, Relationships and Events, IT, Solutions Support) to identify emerging learning needs, share insights, and develop holistic solutions. Serve as a key resource and advisor to other departments seeking to implement learning initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies. Instructional Design and Delivery Apply best practices in instructional design to create engaging, outcome-driven learning experiences, including live events, virtual classrooms, and blended learning formats. Manage content development projects, overseeing both in-house and external instructional designers, trainers, and consultants. Ensure all learning solutions meet adult learning principles and comply with relevant CPE standards and regulations. Team Leadership and Support Manage support personnel responsible for providing coordination and support with clients and internal colleagues. Provide professional development and coaching for support personnel to foster growth, address developmental needs, and enhance overall performance.
DEMONSTRATED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) and/or experience in public accounting firm preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years in learning and development, instructional design, or continuing professional education, preferably with a focus on professional or corporate learning. Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and delivering both traditional and online educational programs. Proven track record of leading and growing high-value professional education offerings, including customization and advanced-level programs. Experienced in managing direct reports, providing feedback and driving team success. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
