We foster healing, promote prevention, and create safe communities through direct services, advocacy, and education. REACH Crisis Services is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Education Coordinator to lead our educational and prevention initiatives. This role plays a key part in fostering awareness, building partnerships, and promoting community-wide understanding of interpersonal violence and trauma. The Education Coordinator will assess current community needs, develop targeted programs, and provide trainings and presentations across schools, businesses, and community organizations. Duties Design and deliver educational, awareness, and prevention programs tailored to different audiences. Research, develop, and implement specialized curricula and presentations. Facilitate and develop support groups for survivors. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of educational programs. Maintain accurate records of participation in programs and activities. Coordinate and present educational sessions in schools, businesses, and community organizations. Annually initiate outreach to all schools in the catchment area with offers for presentations and programming. Update and maintain educational resources and materials for the community and agency use. Oversee the agency’s educational programs and ensure quality and consistency in delivery. Regularly assess community needs and evaluate the effectiveness of current education efforts. Maintain accurate records and reports for grant and internal reporting purposes. Participate in REACH’s on-call rotation to provide support to survivors in crisis. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Experience in education, training, or public speaking. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Willingness to travel locally for presentations and outreach.
