RESPONSIBILITIES:
Instructional:

+ Provide leadership and accountability in working with all school stakeholders including teachers, parents, support personnel, students, and community members to achieve standards and develop and improve the instructional programs of the school. This includes the use of WVCS’ Teacher evaluation documents and processes as defined in the school’s APPR document. + Supervise the work of professional staff members in the school and confer with them to improve the quality of teaching and learning. + Supervise and evaluate non-instructional + Facilitate meetings of the PreK-12 teaching staff and enlist the cooperation of all staff members in the solution to school related problems. + Participate in the appointment, re-appointment, promotion, dismissal, and performance evaluation of all PreK-12 teaching staff. + Ensure that report cards are properly completed and issued at designated + Participate and /or lead professional development and training programs to increase skills and proficiency related to the task of teaching. + Certify the compliance of individual students with the requirements for promotion or graduation on the basis of records and reports from teachers. + Responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluating of the master instructional program schedule. + Assist in the budget process pertaining to the instructional program including teacher + Arrange for the supervision of school functions and be visible to the school and + Responsible for the development and carrying out of programs and practices to produce a positive discipline environment. + Model and ensure adherence to appropriate safety + Ensure that all inter-school contests and all other school sponsored activities are under the direct and complete control of the school administration; that finances related to such school activities are handled the same as other school funds. + Work closely with the Athletic Director to ensure all guidelines of the
