Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled Instructional Systems Designer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in New York, New York. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in e-learning technologies and instructional design to create engaging and effective training materials. This position is ideal for someone meticulous and passionate about adult learning and innovative educational strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop interactive e-learning modules using tools such as Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline.
  • Design blended learning programs that effectively combine digital and traditional instructional methods.
  • Apply adult learning theories to create engaging and impactful training content.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning objectives and ensure the alignment of deliverables.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud applications to enhance the visual appeal and functionality of training materials.
  • Conduct A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of instructional designs and make data-driven improvements.
  • Create and maintain deliverables such as storyboards, scripts, and multimedia assets.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in all instructional materials, adhering to branding and organizational standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into training solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and updates for e-learning modules to maintain relevance and effectiveness. Requirements
  • Proficiency in Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and Articulate Studio.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theory and its application in instructional design.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Dreamweaver, for creating visually appealing content.
  • Familiarity with blended learning techniques and e-learning development.
  • Ability to conduct A/B testing and analyze outcomes for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing deliverables.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in creating instructional systems and designing training materials.
