PM Contract:
10 month renewable contract, summer opportunities available
Salary Range:
$23,000-$27,000 annually for 10 month offer Reports to:
Head of Preschool/Site Director Position Summary:
The Early Learning Center at Yeshiva is seeking a warm, dependable, and team-oriented Educational Support Specialist to provide hands-on classroom and logistical support across all age groups from 6 weeks through five years-old. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with children and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as support staff in all classrooms on a rotating schedule Assist with minor behavioral needs and offer emotional support to students Provide coverage for teacher bathroom or nursing breaks as needed Deliver supplies and classroom materials as needed Help maintain classroom supervision standards during transitions or staff absences Respond to staff needs via walkie-talkie and support immediate, small-scale classroom needs Participate in professional development
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting preferred Reliable, flexible, and communicative Able to multitask and stay calm in dynamic classroom environments Willingness to be trained and follow all compliance and safety protocols High school diploma required; some college coursework in early childhood or related field preferred
