Job Description
Currently we have an exciting opportunity with our Work Ready program as a Lead Instructor.
The Lead Instructor is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in the Work Ready program. This includes tracking participants’ learning goals and guiding them through the program. The Lead Instructor will connect participants with new learning opportunities and support their transitions between programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with Case Coordinators, Placement Counselor, and data specialists to ensure that hours of participation are entered into required databases. Meet as part of the team to review progress in activities. Provide recommendations for appropriate activities and follow-up services. Connect participants with new learning opportunities, supporting them to maintain participation when transitioning from one opportunity to the next.
Use data to develop targeted educational interventions and support for participants and instructors. Provide supervision to all assigned staff. Utilize sound management and leadership skills.
Collaborate with Instructors to develop and enhance instructional materials and curricula.
Skills & Requirements

Skills & Requirements:

Master’s degree in education or related field. 5 years of classroom experience 5 years of experience as an instructor in an educational, human service, or other equivalent training Knowledge of or interest in learning group training / instruction techniques and methods. Knowledge of content for a wide variety of life and work skills topics. Knowledge of Workforce Development core principles.
Proficient in MS Office applications (especially MS Word and Excel). Willingness to learn JEVS specific database. Knowledge of CWDS, DRC, ACCI, Interest Profiler, and Career Scope database Willing to work some evenings and Saturdays.

The base pay for this position is $59,000. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
