Job Description
Learning Experience Designer Talent groups Canonsburg, PA 15317 • Hybrid work The Learning Experience Designer II is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning experiences that enable behavioral change and drive business results. You’ll work collaboratively with subject matter experts, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to create learner-focused solutions that are intuitive, accessible, and engaging. This position will be part of a high-impact team focused on upskilling employees, supporting business transformation, and building future-ready capabilities through innovative training methods.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver learning content and experiences according to project timelines and standards Translate complex business needs into engaging and accessible learning solutions using human-centered design principles Build, curate, and manage learning assets across modalities: eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), video, microlearning, toolkits, job aids, and blended solutions Utilize tools such as Articulate 360, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Camtasia, and others for content creation Participate in discovery and design sessions to define training needs and inform instructional strategy Apply adult learning principles and current trends in learning science to maximize learner engagement and retention Manage multiple concurrent learning projects, keeping delivery on track and ensuring alignment with goals Continuously evaluate learning solutions, gather feedback, and iterate based on learner insights and performance data Assist in creating measurement and evaluation strategies to track effectiveness and ROI of training interventions Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, instructional trends, and best practices in corporate training and development
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of experience designing and developing training solutions in a corporate environment Strong portfolio showcasing digital and instructor-led training projects Deep understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, Agile Learning, etc.) Experience with content authoring tools including Articulate 360 , Rise , Adobe Creative Suite , Camtasia , and Microsoft Office Strong visual storytelling, writing, and communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept to implementation with limited supervision Experience with LMS and LXP platforms and familiarity with SCORM/xAPI standards Ability to balance creativity with attention to structure, consistency, and quality standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Educational Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred or equivalent experience) Experience in telecom, engineering, or technical project-based environments is a plus Familiarity with agile project management or design thinking methodologies Audio/video editing and multimedia production experience
