Education Associate (Fiscal/Grant Coordinator) – 61148579 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Lexington County, SC Job Responsibilities The person in this position will provide fiscal oversight for the South Carolina Pathways Project (SCPP), including preparing and reviewing budgets, expenditure reports and other grant and fiscal documents. Assist in the preparation of project summaries and other reports to inform partners and other stakeholders about the project’s progress and grant expenditures. Present to partners and stakeholders to facilitate implementation of the project and to apprise stakeholders regarding progress on the project and any new developments. Review budgets and expenditure reports provided by subgrantees to ensure that grant funds are expended appropriately. Assist the SCPP coordinator with required project reports and project activities, including development of improvements to the transition service delivery system in schools and with the development and implementation of new diploma pathways. Maintain relationship and coordination with the funding source and coordinate the submission of any and all fiscal reports required by the funding source. Research and investigate opportunities for resource development, project expansion and sustainability. Perform other duties as assigned. This position is located in the Office of Special Education Services. Minimum and Additional Requirements A bachelor’s degree and experience in education, management or business. Preferred Qualifications Three (3) years of experience in the field of public finance and/or grant management or fiscal management experience relating to grant funded education projects as well as proficiency with Excel, Excel Pivot Tables and Power Query.
