Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Coordinator
This position is non-aligned and grant-funded. This position is on a 210-day contract.
MTSS Coordinator will serve as the instructional leader for RCPS. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Design and oversee the implementation of an MTSS framework, including multi-year planning.
• Support administrators and build leadership with instructional decisions and professional development at various tiers.
• Coordinate the district-level MTSS team and work with teacher leaders who will oversee school-level teams.
• Serve as a resource for teachers and administrators with resources for MTSS implementation.
• Advise administrators of the professional development needs of faculty/staff related to MTSS.
• Conduct regular meetings with administrators, teacher leaders, and instructional coaches to review systems and advise on any necessary actions.
• Support the district to review and refine curriculum, instruction, and assessment decisions as well as oversee ordering of software and materials being used to support students at various instructional tiers.
• Review and assist with title grants to be utilized to support MTSS, including supporting the Assistant Superintendent’s office in the development of investments and oversight of reporting specific to MTSS, which may include parent family engagement, compliance with laws and regulations, and reporting.
• Work collaboratively with the Data Coach to support schools in reviewing data and using it to build and support their MTSS structures and EST teams.
