Children’s Dance Instructor My Ballet Class Hazel Green, AL 35750 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and a desire to educate and inspire students of all ages. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students develop their dance skills while promoting creativity and self-expression. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to various skill levels and age groups. Instruct students in various dance styles, ensuring proper techniques and safety measures are followed. Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Organize and participate in performances, recitals, or competitions as needed. Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for dance. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create a cohesive curriculum that supports overall student development. Engage with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise. Skills Strong lesson planning abilities to create structured and effective dance classes. Ability to educate students on dance techniques while fostering their creativity. Knowledge of childhood development principles to effectively teach younger students, particularly in preschool settings.
