This is an international position based in The Bahamas. The ideal candidate is a trained and experienced dance educator with the versatility to teach multiple styles, work with youth across age levels, and contribute to a fast-growing academy rooted in excellence and access. Responsibilities Teach assigned classes in ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, tap, and/or hiphop. Instruct students ages 6-17 and adults based on placement Prepare choreography for studio showings, recitals, and special projects Contribute to student assessments and placement decisions Maintain class discipline, attendance records, and safe studio practices Support MDA’s company rehearsals or competition prep (if assigned) Participate in academy events and production weekends Skills Degree or professional training in dance or dance education At least 3 years of teaching experience in a studio, school, or pre-professional program Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a creative faculty team Willingness to relocate internationally for the duration of the contract

Compensation Package:

Monthly salary (commensurate with experience) Housing provided (1-bedroom apartment or housing stipend) Monthly meal stipend Round-trip airfare (start and end of contract) Paid holidays and scheduled time off.
