As a Camp Counselor, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing guidance, and ensuring the well-being of campers while fostering their personal growth and development. Schedule June 2nd
- August 8th Monday
- Friday 8:30am
- 3:30pm Training will occur at the end of May Duties Supervise and engage with campers during various activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
Provide support to campers in developing social skills, teamwork, and conflict resolution. Assist with daily operations of the camp, including setting up activities, maintaining cleanliness, and managing supplies. Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members to address any concerns or needs. Monitor camper behavior and provide appropriate guidance to ensure a positive camp experience. Teach campers the fundamentals of watersports including kneeboarding and wakeboarding, and provide hands on instructions. Participate in water based activities with campers including Obstacle Island and Cable Park watersports. Requirements 16 years of age, or older Experience working with children Certification in First Aid/CPR is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A passion for working with children and creating memorable experiences in a camp setting.
