Dance Instructor 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 144 Broad Street, Dacula, GA 30019 We seek a passionate and creative Dance Instructor to lead dance classes for students of varying skill levels. The instructor will develop original choreography, teach routines, and organize performances and showcases throughout the year. This is a part-time position, limited to after-school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop age-appropriate choreography across various dance styles (e.g., hip hop, jazz, contemporary, ballet, tap, etc.) Plan and lead engaging, safe, and inclusive dance lessons for students Prepare students for seasonal showcases and special performances Collaborate with staff on showcase planning and event logistics Provide mentorship and foster a positive environment for all students Maintain attendance records and report progress as needed
Qualifications:
Prior experience teaching dance and choreographing routines Strong background in one or more styles of dance Experience working with children or teens preferred Excellent communication and classroom management skills Reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible
Work Schedule:
Weekdays only, after-school hours (typically between 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM) Saturday (9:00 AM to 12:30 PM) Showcase dates may require occasional evening or weekend availability
