Dance Technical Instructor A’Leanah Marie Dance Company 3267 N Henry Blvd, Stockbridge, GA 30281 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and experience working with students of various ages. This role involves teaching dance techniques, developing engaging lesson plans, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Teach various dance styles, ensuring students understand the fundamentals while encouraging individual expression. Manage classroom dynamics effectively, maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere for all participants. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and confidence. Organize and lead rehearsals for performances, ensuring all participants are well-prepared. Collaborate with other educators to integrate dance into broader educational programs when applicable. Engage with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise. Stay updated on current trends in dance education and participate in professional development opportunities. Requirements Proven experience in dance coaching or teaching Strong skills in curriculum development to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Background in childhood development is highly desirable to effectively support young learners. Excellent classroom management skills to maintain an organized and productive learning environment. Experience working with students from various backgrounds, fostering an inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
