Angel Performing Arts (Angel Dance) has an immediate opening for a ballet dance teacher position in Massachusetts, USA. You will be responsible for teaching and training a group of dynamic students of all age groups in a wide variety of ballet dance techniques and styles. Responsibilities and Duties:

Create and follow dance curriculum for each semester; prepare lesson plans for assigned classes Teach classes at different levels (e.g., beginners and advanced) using various ballet styles in-person at the studio Manage classroom activities such as arrival, attendance, transitions, lunch, and dismissal Choreograph and rehearse dance routines for recital performance and dance competitions

Typical Weekly Teaching Schedule:

Monday to Friday 4-8 pm Saturday Sunday 9-12 am and 1-6 pm Flexible schedule

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in dance, or formal training from an accredited college or dance school 2 years of professional experience in teaching recreational and advanced level ballet classes Prior experience teaching ballet to children ages 3-15 Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and organization skills Must be available to work during some weekday evenings and on weekends US work authorization
