MUST be confident and comfortable working with ages 3-13 , and be open and quick to adapt, and teach a variety of styles. We would like to hire for summer classes and camps, and carry these positions into the new season in August/September. We are a small, personalized Dance Studio in Leland, NC just over the bridge from Wilmington. Our ideal candidates must have experience teaching dance. This position has opportunity for growth! Must be confident, well spoken, patient, animated, and energetic. Looking for someone that is passionate about working with young dancers, teaching, and loves kids! We need teachers for the following styles: Ballet Tap Jazz Hip Hop/Jazz Funk Dance Acrobatics Contemporary/Lyciral (advanced)
MUST HAVE A SOLID DANCE BACKGROUND.
Required Skills:
- Experience working with Preschool and/or Elementary Students (prefer at least 2 years)
- Ability to command a room and differentiate based on student needs
- Knowledge of ballet, jazz, and basic tap dance skill, terminology, and body placement.
- A true love for children at this age
- Must be able to create lesson plans, follow plans, and execute with or without an assistant. Also needs to be able to create an end of year Showcase dance for their classes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop and implement engaging dance curricula for preschool and elementary students. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management strategies. Provide individualized attention and support to students, ensuring their growth and development in dance. Collaborate with parents and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for children. Organize and participate in performances and showcases to highlight students’ progress and achievements. ‘
