Tennisbloc is making racket sports a more accessible, affordable, and inclusive experience across North Carolina. With our team of passionate, experienced instructors, paired with our software solutions and online platform, it’s easier than ever to get plugged into racket sports. We are building a positive community by bringing a new standard of racket sports programs and lessons directly to the hearts of communities everywhere. We are implementing technologies that empower organizers and communities everywhere to create meaningful and engaging racket sports communities, events and leagues, while also having logistic technologies at their disposal to increase efficiency, retention, management control, and overall player participation. We are painting a new picture and perception of racket sports and have never lost our core goal—to help bring racket sports to everyone that could never experience it before and to build positive and meaningful community in the process. Responsibilities Instruct and coach participants in pickleball techniques and strategies to enhance their skills and performance. Study and deliver our engaging lesson plans tailored to various skill levels and age groups. Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all players, adhering to safety protocols. Provide feedback and encouragement to foster improvement and confidence. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to organize events and tournaments. Maintain equipment and facilities, ensuring they are in good condition for use. Qualifications Experience in sports coaching and teaching, particularly in pickleball. Strong background in physical education and child development. Relevant pickleball coaching certifications preferred. Tournament or other competitive playing experience required with a preferred rating of 3.5+. Ability to follow and deliver our lesson plans and foster a positive learning environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students of all ages.

Schedule:

Wednesday nights for the next 10 weeks from 4:30 – 7:30 PM (Time could be moved later)

Job Type:

Part-time Pay:

$18.00 – $30.00 per hour
