Dance Teacher/Ballet/Tap/Acrobatics American Dance Studios 8A Casey Ave, Edison, NJ 08817 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a love for dance and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students of all ages. This role involves teaching various dance styles, managing classroom dynamics, and encouraging creativity in each student. Duties Develop and implement engaging dance lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Instruct students in various dance styles, ensuring proper technique and form. Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a respectful and inclusive atmosphere. Foster creativity and self-expression among students through movement. Collaborate with other instructors to organize performances and recitals. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and class activities. Maintain a safe and clean environment for all participants. Qualifications Previous experience in dance instruction or related fields is preferred. Strong skills in behavior management and classroom management. Experience working with children, particularly in preschool or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of various dance styles and techniques. Background in theater or performing arts is a plus. Ability to create an engaging curriculum that incorporates movement, creativity, and fun.
