Overview:

PCC Dance Studio is seeking dance teachers to join our team as teacher substitutes or permanent teachers. We encourage a creative, fun, and energetic work environment. We are looking for instructors and staff that are friendly, enthusiastic, and hardworking.

Part-Time Dance Teachers:

Regular dance season and 6-week classes generally begin around mid-September and go through mid-May and can start around 4-5 pm on weekdays and at 9:00 am on Saturdays, but we are flexible on shift start times based on availability. Instructor shifts usually fall between 2 and 5 hours per day 1-2 days a week. Summer session begins in mid June and goes through late August for camps, workshops, and intensives. These programs could run throughout the week during the day and evening. Schedules are determined based on teacher availability and program needs. Ideal candidates would be well-versed in numerous styles such as jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, modern, and hip hop, HOWEVER, we still accept applicants who are only focused on ba few genres. We’re especially interested in those experienced and enthusiastic about working with any ages. Part-Time Dance Teachers are responsible for: ~Delivering quality instruction to a variety of ages and levels. ~Selecting music and costumes for classes. ~Follow the syllabus for classes that have a set curriculum. ~Choreographing age-appropriate dances for showcases, community events, and recitals. ~Attending staff meetings, workshops, and open houses, productions, recitals, rehearsals, additional commitments may arise. ~Create a fun teaching environment that aligns with PCC Dance Studios’ mission to inspire a passion for the art of dance in every student who passes through our door. ~Additional responsibilities may be added.
