Job Description
To plan, organize, and deliver value-driven skill development programs to participants through YMCA goals and objectives. The Dance Education Professional will teach ballet and contemporary dance classes, create choreography for performances and competitions, for beginner through advanced levels.

- What You’ll Do
- Assists with specific activities, routines and/or games for all participants
- Leads with enthusiasm and positive motivation in program
- Manage all equipment to ensure safety.
- Maintains a clean and risk-free environment
- Ensures all children are picked up by a parent
- Promotes other YMCA programs by handing out brochures, answering questions, or referral to appropriate person
- Ensures compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures
- Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
- What You’ll Need
- 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of advanced experience in specialized skill
- Minimum of 4 years teaching specialized skill.
- Training and qualifications in the specialized instruction area
- Demonstrate advance knowledge of specialized skill
- Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs
- Obtain and maintain all new hires certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire
