If you love dancing and working with young children, this is the perfect opportunity for you. In this role, you’ll introduce preschoolers to the magical world of movement and music, helping them build confidence, coordination, and creativity through fun, age-appropriate dance activities. What You’ll Do Plan and lead fun, engaging dance classes designed for preschool-aged children (ages 2-12) Teach basic dance steps and creative movement using songs, stories, and games Create a positive, nurturing classroom where all children feel safe and supported Help children learn how to follow directions, take turns, and express themselves through dance Prepare students for small performances, recitals, or showcases for families Keep the studio space tidy, organized, and safe for little dancers Communicate with parents in a friendly, professional manner about class activities and student progress Work with other instructors and staff to create themed programs, camps, or performances What We’re Looking For Experience teaching dance or creative movement to young children (ages 2-12) A fun, warm personality with lots of patience and a love for early childhood education Knowledge of basic dance styles like ballet, hip hop or jazz (creative movement experience is a plus!) Strong classroom management skills, with an ability to keep young learners engaged and focused Ability to plan playful, age-appropriate lessons that balance learning and fun Clear communication skills and a team-player attitude Background in theater, music, or performance is a plus!
