St. Cecilia Academy – Dance Instructor 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 4210 Harding Pike, Nashville, TN 37205 Dance Instructor Specific requirements include: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts Experience teaching dance at all levels, most importantly junior high and high school Experience with choreography for dance concerts and musicals Experience with dance curriculum design with a focus on growing dancers logically and safely through a program A passion for teaching and a deep understanding of how the study of dance imparts wisdom for living, as it reflects both a particular culture while expressing universal truths of human existence Additional employment could include: teaching for St. Cecilia Dance Academy, directing/supervising the SCA students’ Seasons Dance Company, teaching dance camps during the summer as part of Camp St. Cecilia, choreographing school musical Experience in the disciplines of theater, music, and drama is preferred.
