Summary:
The Curriculum Director of Catholic Schools is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of the educational curriculum across all Catholic schools within the diocese. This role ensures that the curriculum promotes the mission of the Catholic Schools within the Diocese of Nashville.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
Design and update curriculum frameworks that integrate Catholic teachings and values with academic standards.
Implementation:
Coordinate with school principals and teachers to ensure effective implementation of the curriculum.
Evaluation:
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the curriculum, adjusting as necessary to improve student outcomes.
Professional Development:
Provide training and support for teachers on curriculum-related matters, including new teaching methods, strategies, and technologies.
Compliance:
Ensure that the curriculum meets diocesan, state, and national educational standards.
Collaboration:
