Are you passionate about aerial arts and love working with kids? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Silks Instructor to bring energy, creativity, and heart to our growing program. If you have a strong background in silks and a genuine passion for teaching young athletes, we want to hear from you! In this exciting role, you’ll work with students ages 8 to 14, guiding them through silks skills and safety in a fun, encouraging environment. More than just technique, you’ll be helping them build confidence, discipline, and a love for artistic movement. As a Silks Instructor, you’ll be a mentor, a motivator, and a role model—fostering personal growth and self-expression through aerial arts. Join a team that values creativity, community, and the joy of helping young performers soar—literally! Duties

  • Lead dynamic silks classes for students ages 8-14, introducing them to foundational skills, creative combos, and safe technique in a fun and supportive environment.
  • Teach with intention—instill confidence, discipline, and a growth mindset while promoting body awareness and aerial safety.
  • Inspire creativity by encouraging artistic expression through choreography, improvisation, and personalized movement styles.
  • Foster strong connections with students by creating a welcoming space where every child feels seen, heard, and empowered.
  • Track progress and provide feedback, helping students set and achieve personal goals with clear, constructive guidance.
  • Collaborate with fellow instructors to support studio events, student showcases, and ongoing curriculum development.
  • Ensure a safe training environment by consistently enforcing safety protocols, proper warm-ups, and spotting techniques. Experience
  • Experienced in teaching aerial silks across all levels—from introducing absolute beginners to the basics, all the way through guiding advanced students in complex sequences, drops, and performance preparation.
  • Strong understanding of skill progression, with the ability to break down techniques clearly and modify exercises to suit each student’s level and learning pace.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a professional and friendly approach when engaging with both students and parents—whether you’re sharing weekly updates or celebrating a new milestone.
  • Inclusive and adaptive teaching style, welcoming students of all backgrounds, body types, and learning styles. You know how to create a safe space where everyone feels empowered to grow.
  • Creative and encouraging mindset, with a passion for helping young aerialists express themselves through movement and build confidence both on and off the silks.
  • Genuine love for working with kids, paired with the patience, empathy, and positive energy needed to make every class fun, safe, and inspiring.
